Okay, here's the deal, I really haven't been posting on my blog like I should have been. That is changing now. I have every intention of bogging something everyday. Mostly about what's going on over at Tiny Tot Boutique with a few post thrown in about my grand kids or just whatever is on my mind at the time. I haven't ever really asked for people to follow my blog in the past :( but am asking now to please follow my blog.

I was talking to my daughter this evening(she's a Media Specialist at a public school) about children and there reading habits-or lack there of. It makes you wonder how many children in the U.S. don't have books to read at home. When my children were small we read books and they always had plenty to read themselves. We have the memories of favorite books from our childhoods, I know my daughter always wanted me to read "A Fish Out of Water" and my son liked "Hop on Pop". It is so sad to think that children don't or won't have books at home to read. I'm wondering~~~should I start collecting books and make them available maybe at preschools or somewhere else for older children. I'm sure if they don't have books that they might like being able to have one or two-even if they are used. Think about how a child feels when their peers are ordering and receiving Scholastic books at school and they don't get any. How sad to think that a great mind might go to waste because he/she never had books to read or enjoy as a child.

Oh my goodness!! You should checkout the New Max Daniel Mommy Throws that are now available. These are the same great blankets for babies except they are Mommy size 72 X 60. The Cheetah throw for mommy is soft plush Cheetah print on both sides. It is so soft and luxurious that you will want to snuggle up in it everyday. How cute to have mommy and baby wrapped in matching blankets. The Rosebud and Satin mommy blankets are just like the baby ones, soft plush on one side and a satiny finish on the other. What a great idea by Max Daniel. The Mommy blankets are custom ordered and take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery, but believe me, they are worth it.
